Auditor gives thanks

December 6, 2018

To The Eagle:

Thank you. Thank you Wahkiakum County for electing me as your Auditor. Thank you for putting your trust in me for the next four years.

Soon, the General Election will be over. The ballots are counted and the decisions have been made. I feel extremely fortunate to have retained my position as your auditor. The immense amount of support I have received over the course of this campaign has been truly overwhelming. From allowing me to display my signs in your yards, to monetary contributions and moral support, I couldn’t have done this without you.

As the end of this year approaches, the work does not stop. Budgets are being finalized, the Election will be certified, and my office is looking forward to what 2019 will bring. Continuing my education within all aspects of my work is a priority of mine. Ensuring that the necessary policies and procedures are in place, along with top notch customer service, I am confident that my staff and I will be successful. Wahkiakum County has spoken and I am so humbled to continue as your auditor.

I extend my heartfelt thanks to each and every community member.

Nicci Bergseng

Wahkiakum County Auditor
