John Arthur Boldt, age 33, died December 31, 2018 in Nuevo, Calif, at home, of complications from diabetes.

He was born to Brenda Lee Wika and John Edward Boldt on October 24, 1985 in Astoria, Ore. John worked as a glazier in the union and traveled, working and visiting many places. He enjoyed racing cars, mechanic work and riding motorcycles, and loved family time.

John is survived by his mother Brenda and stepdad John Beatty; sisters Hayley and Seana Boldt and Jillian Boldt-Doss (Jeff); nieces Navaeh Felix, Emilia Garcia-Boldt, Amoni Collins and nephews Jorge and Theodore Garcia-Boldt, Travis Doss and Cameron Ballard; grandparents Dan and Dorothy Buell.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, 1 p.m., at Heritage Bible Church on Puget Island. Interment will follow at Fernhill Cemetery in Skamokawa. Dowling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
