January 21 - 9:28 a.m. A caller reported that a cow was loose along SR 4 in the Elochoman Valley area. The owner was notified. 1:11 p.m. An alarm was activated at a Greenwood Rd home. 8:21 p.m. A Puget Island resident witnessed someone going through his car. Nothing appeared to be missing. 9:23 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided an individual in Cathlamet who was having heart problems.

January 22 - 12:09 a.m. A caller in Skamokawa was concerned about a dog that sounded distressed. 12:55 p.m. A caller reported what appeared to be a white chemical spilled over some rocks near Hornstra Beach. 4:37 p.m. A vehicle was found in some bushes in the Skamokawa area. 7:04 p.m. The Grays River ambulance aided a lethargic Grays River resident who was on the floor and unable to get up.

January 23 - 12:47 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided an Alger Creek resident with chest pain. 7:32 a.m. A caller reported hearing shots fired in the Elochoman Valley. 11:14 a.m. A representative from a telecommunications company notified the sheriff's office that he would be in the area checking pole lengths with a range finder, in case they received any phone calls from people concerned that he might be taking pictures. 1:45 p.m. A caller reported possible child abuse and neglect at a Rosedale home. 1:49 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided a Cathlamet resident who could not rise from his chair. 3:02 p.m. A representative from human services asked the sheriff's office for assistance in contacting an individual on the east side of the county. 3:55 p.m. A caller reported that a restraining order had been violated. 5:45 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance transported a clinic patient to the hospital. 6:58 p.m. A representative from human services asked the sheriff's office for assistance in contacting an individual on the east side of the county. 7:39 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided a Puget Island resident who had fallen.

January 24 - 9:06 a.m. An unoccupied boat was seen floating down the Columbia River. The Coast Guard was notified and en route. 2:06 p.m. A caller reported a speeding vehicle on a Rosedale road. 3:59 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided an individual with a head injury in Cathlamet.

January 25 - 9:12 a.m. A caller reported that a neighbor's dogs came onto their Puget Island property and killed four of their chickens and injured two more. 11:32 a.m. A caller reported a domestic disturbance in the Elochoman Valley. 12:29 p.m. A caller witnessed people taking firewood from a neighbor's barn in the Rosburg area. 1:21 p.m. A caller reported that a couple were fighting while sitting in a vehicle outside a Rosedale business. 1:26 p.m. A deputy was asked to accompany a representative from Child Protective Services on a visit to a Rosedale home. 2:12 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided a Puget Island resident who had abdominal pain. 2:16 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded when a caller reported seeing a lot of smoke in the Deep River area. 11:47 p.m. A caller was concerned about several cars that were parked along Beaver Creek Road for several hours. 11:55 p.m. A deputy and state patrol responded to a one vehicle accident in the Elochoman Valley. No injuries were reported.

January 26 - 12:42 a.m. A man was seen walking through a dark gym at a Cathlamet school. It turned out to be a member of the basketball team. 12:47 a.m. A caller reported that a man had broken two windows out of a car parked in Cathlamet. 7:34 a.m. A caller reported seeing the bow of a boat sticking up out of water near Nassa Point. It was the same boat reported on January 24. 7:52 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance aided a Rosedale resident who may have suffered a stroke. 8:27 a.m. A Puget Island resident reported that her two dogs were loose. 3:14 p.m. A caller reported a possible intentional overdose at an Elochoman Valley home. A deputy responded. 3:56 p.m. A person walking on Hornstra Beach thought someone in a boat shot at her. A deputy advised that it was duck hunters. 6:54 p.m. A Grays River resident was concerned about a juvenile who had not returned home after several hours. An hour later, the resident called back to say the boy was home.

January 27 - 2:26 p.m. A caller reported a domestic disturbance at a Cathlamet home. 9:27 p.m. A caller reported that several cows were loose and on an Elochoman Valley road. The owner was notified.
