Mule Golf


The Wahkiakum Mule golf team last week opened the 2019 season with a solid four player total of 186 over Life Christian Academy’s 213.

The match was played at a neutral site, Tumwater Valley Golf Club, where 2B Central Districts and the 1B/2B State Championship will be played in May.

Mule Junior Tyler St. Onge medaled with 42 followed by classmate Victor Hummer’s 45 and senior Zach Johnston’s 48. Also completing the round was sophomore Logan LaBerge 51, junior Joseph Savelio 52 and junior Elijah Doiron 55. LCA’s Aramis Jang, an eighth grader, shot 50.

The next match is home on April 9 with North Beach.
