WHS Mule Golf

April 11, 2019

After opening the season with a disappointing 186, the Mules golf team took advantage of some home cooking to turn in a four-ball score of 172 against North Beach who posted an incomplete with just 3 players Tuesday at Skyline Golf Course, Cathlamet.

Tyler St Onge was medalist with a 36 on a rainy and windy day. The rest of the Mules all shot in the 40’s. Zach Johnston finished second with a 44; Victor Hummer and Joseph Savelio each posted 46; Elijah Doiron shot 47, and Logan LaBerge rounded out the card with a 49.

This is a deep squad with six guys that can shoot in the 40’s. The end run for district is going to be very competitive. We still have a lot of work to do to get to day two at district and then state. That’s our goal.

The Mules moved to 2-0 and are away today (Thursday) against Three Rivers and Adna at Mint Valley Golf Course, Longview.
