This week, for the first time since 1970, The Eagle will no longer be printed by The Daily News of Longview. Corporate bosses of that paper decided to shut down The Daily News press and switch printing to Albany, Ore. That hasn’t worked well for The Eagle. This week, we start printing at The Astorian newspaper’s press. We anticipate a return to the timely delivery and printing quality we once enjoyed from The Daily News.
