What's happening at the Fair?

Wow! It is already May. This is the start of our busy season. Hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather. We have several events happening this month. On May 5 the Wahkiakum Fair Foundation will hold its Cinco De Mayo dinner. Then on May 11 the monthly Flea Market will take place in the youth building. Also on that day will be the first leg of the Silver Buckle Series. If you haven't been to a Flea Market you are missing out. There is usually something there for everyone. We will have a clean up day at the fairgrounds on May 18 from 10 a.m., to 2 p.m. Lunch will be provided. As always the fairgrounds needs volunteers to make it beautiful.

June 1 is coming fast and it will be the day to come see some good old cars at the fairgrounds. This will be the 1st Annual "Cruzin to the Fair" Car Show. We are very excited about this new event and are always looking for volunteers. If you would like to be a volunteer or just help out, call the office at (360)795-3480 and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Entries for the car show can be picked up at the Duck Inn or the Bank of Pacific.

The fair is looking for Superintendents in several areas. If you are interested call the office or stop by the Flea Market and talk to me.

Next on the list is Fair Royalty. We are now in search for young ladies or gentlemen to be Fair Royalty. If you are interested call the office.
