Watch the presidential debates while dining

To The Eagle:

The first of the Democratic Party presidential primary debates is next week, with 10 candidates on Wednesday 6/26 and 10 more on Thursday 6/27, starting at 6:00 p.m., each night. They are supposed to be done by 8:00 p.m.

I thought about just sitting at home and watching quietly but I had a much more fun idea: what if we could meet at Maria's, eat dinner, and then watch with folks who all want to talk about what we see?

I asked Maria and she said "OK with us." So, if you are interested, let's meet at Maria's around 5:30, get started on dinner if interested (everyone buys their own) and settle in to watch the debates.

During commercials we can talk about what we see and hear. My particular interest is finding out if any of them talk about anything that is favorable for all of us in the county.

I promised Maria that no one would throw anything at the TV's or each other. The more people who show up the more TV's she will dedicate to the debates.

I visited both the Democratic county party meeting and the Republican county party meeting and invited them all. No matter your affiliation (or none) come join the fun!
