Coming Events--Community Center in Cathlamet

August 1, 2019

The Wahkiakum Random Acts of Kindness jar has been overflowing! I am happy to announce that good deeds are not hard to come by in this diverse and spunky town. Next week I will publish a handful of the notes you have submitted. The RAKS jar is visiting Patty Cakes this week, so be sure to add to it.

Speaking of kindness, we at the community center want to give a warm thank you to Mike Passmore. He continually helps create amazing presentations for Wahkiakum Outdoors, he creates helpful data for the CC, he is an avid mentor, a good friend and most recently, has donated a beautiful banner for the community center. You are appreciated, sir.

Monthly happenings include Photography Club this Aug 3rd, 10-12., and every first Saturday of the month. WAGS guitar society is also this coming Sunday, Aug. 4th at 7 p.m. Book club is meeting the second Fri. of the month, so you have time to read them by Aug. 9th. Join the crew to discuss two books: The Oath by Frank E. Peretti and Follow the River by James Alexander Thom.

Weekly get-together include Cribbage on Weds. @ 7 p.m., Sandra Sews Thurs. @ 10 a.m., TOPS is Thurs. @ 6 p.m. Brown Bag social group meets every Friday @ 11 a.m.

Don’t be a stranger, stop in and say hello. Enjoy the sunshine, Wahkiakum!
