Ferry shutting down Wednesday for engine inspection

The ferry Oscar B. will go out of service next Wednesday morning for another inspection and possible repair of an engine.

The ferry will be out of service from 5 a.m. to 12 noon.

A new engine last spring has indicated it is overheating, and mechanics from Cummins Diesel, the provider, are trying to find the source of the problem.
