The Wahkiakum County Eagle - Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

The Wahkiakum County Noxious Weed Control Board will hold a special meeting commencing at 6 p.m. on Friday to discuss 2020 programs and budget.

The Wahkiakum County Board of Commissioners has been working to reconstitute the board, which is charged with overseeing eradication and control of noxious or invasive weeds. High priorities include Japanese knotweed and the aquatic weeds in the Columbia and connecting sloughs.

The meeting will take place in the River Street Meeting Room, located at 25 River Street in Cathlamet.
