The Naselle Comets volleyball team, who finished their regular season with an 8-6 record, began the IB District IV tournament with a three set win against Taholah on Tuesday: 25-9, 25-23, and 25-16.

They will face Firm Foundation in the semifinals on Thursday in Tumwater at 6 p.m. The winner will secure a berth to state and play in the district championship game at 7:30 p.m.

The loser of the semifinal game will spar for third and fourth place, and then move into crossover games with District V on November 9, time and place to be determined. The winners of those games will head to state.
