Lower Columbia College to host NW Voices event

Lower Columbia College has announced that Author Jamie Zerndt will be featured at the December 5 Northwest Voices event in Longview.

· The author will present a writing workshop from 3:30-5:00 p.m. in the Health & Science Building, Room 104 (HSB 104) on the Lower Columbia College campus.

· Beginning at 7:00 p.m., he will hold a reading at the Longview Public Library.

· Both events are free and open to the public.

Jamie Zerndt is the author of The Cloud Seeders, The Korean Word for Butterfly, and The Roadrunner Café. His newest novel, Jerkwater, is based on a short story that was chosen as an Editor's Pick in Amazon's Kindle Singles store. He received an MFA in Writing from Pacific University and now lives in Portland, Oregon, with his son. He can be found at http://www.jamiezerndt.com.
