Lions Club honors students

Wahkiakum Lions President Terri Elfers presented Elijah Doiron with a certificate and check as the October Student of The Month. Elijah has been on the golf team all through high school. He is involved in sports helping where he is needed. Elijah plans to attend college after working this year to acquire tuition fees. He is an energetic, ambitious student. K.C. Beery is The Lions November Student of The Month. Wahkiakum Lions President Terri Elfers presented him with his certificate. He has lettered in four sports all four years of high school. K.C. plans to go to lineman school and work for a contractor and hopes to eventually own his own company. K.C. loves the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping. He will be working in Alaska on a charter fishing boat this summer to help him through lineman school in the fall. Courtesy photo.
