Free grocery delivery service offered by Lions

The Wahkiakum Lions Club has organized many volunteers to provide a free grocery delivery service to residents of Wahkiakum County. They’ve created Wahkiakum Lions Club Helping Hands to support and protect the county residents for whom this novel corona virus is most threatening.

As caring citizens with free time, they wanted to shoulder some of that responsibility within the county. They will organize and do the grunt work while others focus on tackling the bigger issues. Their contribution is to connect pre-screened volunteers with home-bound folks.

For more information, or to set up a delivery, first contact your store, the Cathlamet Market, Fred Meyer or Walmart, then visit the Lions Club website, email them, or call their hotline with the pick-up details you have arranged.
