Who's fanning the flames over racism?

To The Eagle:

Thank you, J.B. Bouchard, for the education on white privilege. I didn't have a clue. I had been going down to Jim Crow Creek for 30 years without a racist thought until someone in Olympia educated me that it's racist.

No, sir, I have not experienced any of the scenarios that you mentioned, but I have been in Atlanta where I was treated like a second class citizen . . . I've been in some pretty bad neighborhoods where I felt very uncomfortable for being white.

If I only knew about my white privilege then.

I do feel privileged, privileged to have been born in the USA, privileged to have a wonderful life, privileged to have kids, privileged to lace up my boots and go to work for 40 years.

I think you can make everything about race if you choose to.

Look at what's been going on: Tearing down statues of abolitionist Whittier and Ulysses S. Grant. No more "Gone with the wind." Got to go--racist.

I thought Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben made good food. I couldn't even taste the racism. And what about Oreo cookies? Is that white trying to dominate the black?

I don't have all the answers, but I think you guys are the ones keeping the race wars alive. Just keep fanning those flames. You'll get the results you're looking for.
