Confirmed case of covid-19 in sixth Wahkiakum County resident

A sixth case of covid-19 was confirmed in Wahkiakum County today. The individual is in self-quarantine and is not symptomatic.

Wahkiakum County Health and Human Services is working to identify anyone who may have an exposure risk because of contact with the person. Those people with close contact will be notified by Health and Human Services staff.

At this point, the possibility of additional community spread from this individual seems low, according to a press release from WHHS.
