If Hillary were president we'd be less divisive

To The Eagle:

I’d like to thank the writer of the article in last week’s Eagle questioning what the US would be like had Hillary Clinton become president. She’s fortunately making the point that many objective voters have been trying to make for months.

Firstly, I don’t think the media and most of us progressives hate Trump so much as we’re disgusted with him. His self- serving actions at the country’s expense, and gross ineptitude on so many presidential levels require his actions, or lack of them, to be repeatedly pointed out as they occur, which is why it’s a daily update.

So as she asks, had Hillary become president, what would the US currently be like (?).

To name just a few, we’d likely have a president and administration that didn’t lie to us, allies that backed us and respected us, probably 200,000 less dead American people, a more environmentally secure country, better trading partners and agreements, and an annual budget that was centered to growing our country rather than creating incentives for corporate stock buybacks and not repatriating US dollars.

Most critically and important though, we’d have a much less divisive country, and a fair DOJ to deal with our racial tensions.

Thanks again for writing your questioning article. It’s particularly poignant heading into the election.
