What's happening at the Fair?

September 24, 2020

Greetings from the fair office. Thank you to all the exhibitors who entered the virtual fair. A huge thank you to the Blalock family for all their hard work on the virtual fair. Premium checks are ready for pick up. I will be in the office on Tuesday, September 29 from 4 p.m., to 7 p.m. You can pick them up on this day or I will mail them to you. If you want your ribbons you will need to pick them up on this day. If needed I will have a second pick up on October 10 at the monthly Flea Market.

Only two more Farmers Market/Flea Market on Tuesdays from 4 p.m., to 7p.m. Come grab your fresh veggies or fruit and pick up a treasure or two from the youth building. We have lots of treasures and I add new stuff every week.

Thanks to everyone who has donated to the fair, it is greatly appreciated. The new doors are up on the bingo booth and the food court. I can’t wait for everyone to see them; they are awesome. It was like Christmas in September for the fair.

Thanks to the Department of Agriculture for the grant and the commissioners for picking up the balance. Also thanks to Joe and Neil who got the old doors down and ready for the new ones.
