The National Park Service cares for special places saved by the American people so that all may experience our heritage.

Pacific and Clatsop Counties have a wealth of excellent tourist attractions and it is easy for local residents to take them for granted. For this year’s Hometown Tourism Day on Wednesday, November 11 (Veterans Day), several local sites are working together to encourage their neighbors to check out their on-line resources since crowds of in-person visitors are discouraged.
