To The Eagle:

The November election brought out record numbers who made their choice known. Biden-Harris won decisively. Biden said he’d be inclusive in his term, which I hope he can be, to get away from the sharp divide. Will, we the people, give peace a chance? That’s to be seen; 2021 isn’t off to a good start on that! The election brought out all sorts of Democracy deniers, claiming fraud, cheating, and the biggest lie of stolen election.

A short time ago, I wrote here, warning of people believing The Big Lie, same as what brought Hitler to power! The dangers of The Big Lie, last week’s insurrection of Trump’s fanatic horde, storming the United States Capitol, causing deaths, injuries, destruction and black eye on Democracy, are there for the whole world to see! They are the culmination of Trump’s big lie to "stop the steal!"

In 2017, there was a real protest in the United States Capitol. Four preachers knelt in the center of the Capitol, singing praises to the Lord in protest of budget cuts! They were all arrested. Fast forward to 2021, one of those preachers, is now Democrat Senator Warnock. Thank you Lord for answering prayers! Hopefully, we can now get some good legislation passed, instead of dying on Mitch McConnell’s desk.

Perhaps we could start with the John Lewis voting rights bill, to get at the real problem of voting! H.R. 5 — Equality Act, H.R. 7 — Paycheck Fairness Act, H.R. 986 — Protecting Americans with Preexisting Conditions Act of 2019, H.R. 987 — Strengthening Health Care and Lowering Prescription Drug Costs Act, H.R. 271 — Condemning the Trump Administration’s Legal Campaign to Take Away Americans’ Health Care, House Resolution 259 — Medicaid Extenders Act of 2019, H.R. 8 — Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2019, S.J. Res. 7 — To direct the removal of United States Armed Forces from hostilities in the Republic of Yemen that have not been authorized by Congress.

The allegiance to Trump is above and beyond being a patriot; there were no patriots storming the Capitol!
