Writer offers links to articles about Jan. 6

To The Eagle:
I remember reading an article about the Jan 6th rally in which a witness, Jenni White, was there and told her story of what she saw that day, “There were hundreds of thousands of people all standing together peacefully in one spot for more than five hours. A small percentage of this group entered the capitol and perpetrated mayhem while hundreds of thousands were peacefully milling around outside. Video of the event shows other attendees remonstrating with some who broke windows or stood on statues, telling them to stop.” If you want to read the rest of her story, this is the link: https://thefederalist.com/2021/01/11/what-i-saw-at-the-save-america-rally-in-washington-dc-on-jan-6/
That said two thoughts came to my mind. One, it was a peaceful protest; yes, some entered into the building but all were armed with only cell phones and flags, no weapons. The Feds arrested many of Trump’s supporters to solitary confinement in prison; still are to this day. They also would not release their cell phones to the family or to the public. Why? All they did was voice their protest over voters’ fraud and President Trump’s impeachment. They have no criminal records so how does that constitute a solitary confinement in prison? The BLM and Antifa were there doing their violent thing yet they spent less than a week in jail.
The other thought that came to my mind, as I watched the videos of the rally, there were masses of people there. I noticed only a few wore masks but many wore no masks, no social distancing, just enjoying each other’s company. With all the masses of people there I haven’t heard news of people who got sick with covid or died during the pandemic; and vaccines had not even been mandated yet. What is the science in that?
If you can tolerate to read one more article on Covid-19, this is a must read article unlike any other. It’s called the War on Reality by Alex Gutentag. Here’s the link: https://www.tabletmag.com/sections/news/articles/the-war-on-reality-gutentag
