The Wahkiakum Lions club continues to honor a senior student each month for their scholastic accomplishments, their community service and their improvement as a student. The September Student of the Month is Emerald Niemela. Emerald is the daughter of Chad and Michaela Niemela. She is active in basketball and volleyball.
