What's happening at the Fair?

Greetings from the fair office. This will be a busy weekend at the fairgrounds. Friday the drive-thru Christmas lights will open at 5 and run until 8. The fair board members worked hard to get the lights up in the rain last weekend. Then on Saturday we will have the flea market and it will be open until 7 p.m. as the fair board will have the lighting show again along with a spaghetti dinner served from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. So come on down and find a few treasures, go through the Christmas lights and have dinner.

The Christmas lighting will also be held on December 17 and 18. The fair board put goodie bags together for the kids and there will be hot chocolate.

Then we will head into the new year and it is promising to be very busy here on the fairgrounds. We will start having work days in January so if you would like to help, please let us know. We will be choosing the fair theme so if anyone has any ideas please get them in asap. Also we will be doing the fair book dedication. If you know of anyone deserving this please let me know. Soon after that we will start working on the Cruzin’ to the Fair car show. This year’s date is June 4 so mark your calendars and get ready for the car show.

Hope everyone has a great week and come on out to the fairgrounds and get yourself some treasures.
