Lady Mules end early

The Wahkiakum Lady Mules' softball season ended a little early with rainy days and a couple forfeited games.

That’s the bad news, but the good news is that the young team picked up a bit of experience this year, and there is now a youth softball program in Wahkiakum County. The program will give athletes a chance to play for three or four seasons before they reach high school, and make a big difference to Mule teams in the future.

Coach Garrett Miller and his returning players are already looking forward to seeing what competition will bring the Lady Mules next year.
