To The Eagle:
As of Sunday night Wahkiakum County has the fourth highest voter turnout of the 39 counties at 86.72%. We need to take pride in our turnout and work to get the other 13% of voters next election.
Good job Wahkiakum, I have offered my congratulations to my opponent for district 3 commissioner, and thank everyone for exercising their hard won right to vote. We shall see what the future brings.
I must say I am pleased and surprised that there have been no cries of stolen elections or lawsuits being filed. We must have come a long way in the last two years or it was all B.S.
Let us all be extremely viligent going forward to respect, protect and support our apparently fragile Democracy.
