Mules Baseball finishes 19th in national fundraiser, first in Washington

The Wahkiakum High School Mules Baseball Team recently partnered with the baseball apparel and lifestyle company Baseballism for a team fundraiser. Baseballism hosted hundreds of programs from across the country for their “Fundraiser February” campaign. The company assigned codes for programs to distribute. This code would give users 15% off their order, and from that 20% is kicked back to the program.

“The fundraiser just ended, so we don’t yet have our totals. But, for a small, rural program like ours to finish 19th in the standings the way we did is phenomenal.” said Head Coach Garrett Radcliffe. “Baseballism is a great company with high quality apparel. That comes at a price. Money doesn’t grow on trees, but our community still showed up in force for us.”

The team plans to use funds raised from this to purchase a new pitching machine and field maintenance supplies. The team will also have other fundraisers including selling gourmet popcorn and hosting a car wash.
