Lions Club honors students of the month

April's Student of the Month was Tanner Collupy. He received the 2023 State 2B sportsmanship award and is planning to attend Volta this fall to become a lineman. His interests include hunting, fishing, football, baseball, playing chess and hanging out with his friends. Tanner is the son of Treasure and Michelle Collupy.
The Wahkiakum Lions Club has announced the final two Students of The Month. LC President Terri Elfers presented each student with a certificate and a check to honor them for their accomplishments.
May's Student of the Month was Reigha Niemeyer. Reigha is the class Valedictorian and received the league MVP award for basketball. She will attend Lower Columbia College to play basketball. Her goal for the future is to be an elementary teacher. Playing basketball, volleyball, softball & track or just being outside is her love. Reigha is the daughter of Marc and Tiffany Niemeyer.
