Ocean Beach Hospital to host Community Health & Wellness Fair

Ocean Beach Hospital and Medical Clinics (OBHMC) willl host a Community Health & Wellness Fair, aimed at fostering wellness, education, and community engagement.

“The Community Health & Wellness Fair supports the well-being of the community we proudly serve,” said Scot Attridge, CEO. “The free event offers a diverse range of activities, services, and information for individuals so that they may take steps toward improving their health and learn about what’s available in the community to support their wellness.”

Community Health & Wellness Fair highlights include free health and vision screenings, as well as a limited number of free flu shots, provided by the Pacific County Department of Health & Human Services. Snacks and tastings from the Ocean Beach Hospital kitchen and dietician departments will be served. Raffle drawings and children’s activities will round out the event.

Among the health and wellness services represented are Coastal Community Action Program, Coast Guard Auxiliary, Crisis Support Network, Dylan Jude Harrell Community Center, Golden Sands, Head Start, Long Beach and Ocean Park fire departments, Ocean Beach Hospital and Medical Clinics, Olympic Area Agency on Aging, Pacific County Department of Health & Human Services, among others.

The fair will take place on September 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the hospital’s campus, 174 1st Ave. N., Ilwaco. Admission is free.
