February 3 10:56 a.m. A driver on Greenwood Rd. in Cathlamet called to report an erratic driver going at a high rate of speed. 12:47 p.m. The Cathlamet Emergency Services responded to an elderly Puget Island resident who was experiencing dizziness and vomiting. 9:25 p.m. A Deep River resident called to report black ice and a couple of inches of snow on the roadway of SR4 between Flandersville and the county line. 21:47 p.m. A caller on Salmon Creek Rd. reported that they heard someone screaming and that a car was in the ditch.

February 4 12:20 p.m. The Grays River Ambulance responded to help an elderly Grays River resident who was expriencing dizziness. 7:44 p.m. Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a request to remove unwanted people from private property in Cathlamet.

February 5 1:28 p.m. A Cathlamet resident called to report that a neighbor’s dogs had been barking for 30 minutes and that they suspected one may be loose, which has caused the dogs to bark like this in the past. 2:24 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies assisted a Cathlamet driver at the library who had locked their keys in their car. 2:33 p.m. The Cathlamet Emergency Services assisted an elderly Cathlamet resident who needed help with a transfer from their vehicle. 3:14 p.m. A Cathlamet resident called to report an unknown vehicle that had been sitting on the side of the road. 4:40 p.m. Cathlamet Ambulance responded to help an elderly Cathlamet resident who was having breathing troubles. 10:44 p.m. A caller on Beaver Creek Rd. called to report that there were several inches of snow on the roadway and requested a snow plow.

February 6 12:51 a.m. The Grays River Ambulance responded to assist a resident who had a high heart rate. 6:11 p.m. A Skamokawa resident called to report that someone pulled into their driveway and opened their delivery box, no items were taken. 6:39 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call in Cathlamet from a resident who was attempting to retrieve their deceased father’s firearm from a family member who was refusing to return it to the caller.

February 7 8:41 a.m. A caller on Middle Valley Rd. in Skamokawa reported unknown people were moving items from a property where the resident had recently passed away and was unsure if they should be there. The people moving items were the deceased’s next of kin and had permission to be there. 10:27 a.m. A Puget Island resident called to report a badly injured deer on their property. 11:54 a.m. Sheriff’s deputies performed a welfare check on an elderly Cathlamet resident after a family member had not heard from them in a while. 2:50 p.m. A Cathlamet business reported a theft that occurred that morning. 11:14 p.m. A caller in Main St. in Cathlamet reported that three people were acting threateningly toward them, flipping them off and acting like they were going to throw something at them.

February 8 3:28 a.m. A concerned driver on SR4 called to report several large branches across both lanes at Flandersville. 6:38 a.m. Cathlamet Emergency Services responded to help an elderly Grays River resident who was having breathing difficulties. 8:02 a.m. A caller on Beaver Creek Rd. reported six inches of snow that needed to be plowed. 8:22 a.m. A concerned citizen called to report an erratic person standing in the middle of the road and acting strangely in Cathlamet. 8:22 a.m. A Cathlamet resident reported that the door of an exterior storage closet was off the hinges and lying on the ground but there was no sign that anything had been taken. 11:27 a.m. A caller in Cathlamet reported that an erratic person was antagonizing people on the street. 12:24 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call on Main Street of an erratic person who had been waving their belt around, yelling profanities, following people, and acting belligerently. 3:34 p.m. A Cathlamet resident reported that their neighbor’s dogs were harassing them and their goats through the fence and that the issue has been ongoing. 4:35 p.m. A Puget Island resident reported that their landlord gave them until Saturday to move their items off the property but the landlord has locked the gate to they can not access their items. 5:31 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies received a 911 text near Bradly Trails of persons who were lost or trapped; several minutes later, another text was received stating, “Never mind, we got out.” Deputies attempted to make contact by phone several times but they received no additional texts. 5:43 p.m. Cathlamet Emergency Services assisted an elderly Cathlamet resident who had fallen down. 6:39 p.m. A Puget Island resident reported that two unknown individuals came to their house asking to use the phone, the resident was very suspicious of their story. 7:54 p.m. A Puget Island resident called to report four dogs were barking in a fenced area. 10:01 p.m. The Cathlamet Ambulance responded to a report of an elderly Cathlamet resident who felt faint. 10:54 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of an erratic person harassing customers at a Cathlamet business, jumping in front of cars and banging on the windows of the business.

February 9 2:43 p.m. A concerned driver on SR4 called to report a large freight truck stopped partially in the road with flashers on near Nassa Point in the eastbound lane. The Cathlamet Ambulance responded to help an elderly Puget Island resident who was sick. 10:34 p.m. A resident on west SR4 called to report that two loose dogs were attacking goats after they managed to get into the pen.
