March 3 9:53 a.m. A caller on E SR4 reported a vehicle that was blocking the road near Abe Creek Hill, MP 39.

March 4 11:18 a.m. A Cathlamet resident called to report an empty skiff drifting past their home near River Mile 50; the vessel had a red hull and white top side. The Coast Guard was notified of the loose vessel. 11:22 a.m. Sheriff’s deputies assisted a Cathlamet resident who had locked their keys in their vehicle. 12:02 p.m. A Puget Island resident called to report a deceased white-tail deer over the bank on Birnie Slough. 12:40 p.m. A business owner in Cathlamet called to report an erratic person disrupting their business and bothering customers. 1:02 p.m. Deputies pulled over the vehicle on E SR4 that was suspected to be leaving a boat that had been dumped near MP43. The driver said they were returning for the boat after getting additional parts from Longview, as it was unsafe to tow on the highway. 7:07 p.m. A caller on E SR4 reported a loose dog running around at the County Line Park.

March 5 1:41 p.m. A Grays River resident called to report a tree in the road blocking the westbound lane on SR 4 near South Hull Creek Rd. 4:33 p.m. A driver on SR 4 near Stella called to report an erratic driver in the westbound lane going over the center and fog lines and going at inconsistent speeds.

March 6 11:46 a.m. A Puget Island resident called to report that they were contacted on Discord and marked for a $12,000 phishing scheme and were still receiving messages from the scammers. 1:19 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies responded to a complaint of unwanted fishermen on a private beach in Cathlamet. The Cathlamet resident said that when they tried to tell the unwanted people to leave, they insulted the resident and made vague threats. Deputies informed the resident that no other police actions could be taken. 1:34 p.m. A caller on SR 4 reported a vehicle driving erratically and weaving lanes near Nassa Pt. and the bottom of Abe Creek Hill. 1:56 p.m.

March 7 12:16 p.m. A Cathlamet resident called to report that a parked vehicle was blocking the Foster Rd roadway. 2:43 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies responded to Puget Island after a boathouse had broken loose and was swinging in the slough. 3:25 p.m. Cathlamet Emergency Services responded to help an elderly Cathlamet resident who was sick. 4:21 p.m. A Cathlamet resident called to request increased night-time patrol at the Chevron Trailer Park after neighbors saw a suspicious person walking around and looking into vehicles at night. 5:50 p.m. A Rosburg resident called to report that an erratic driver on W SR 4 entered the ditch near the Rosburg Store. 6:37 p.m. A Deep River resident called to report an elk that appeared to be injured on their property.

March 8 6:03 a.m. A driver on W SR 4 called to report a large tree down blocking both lanes near the Rosburg Store. 10:40 a.m. A caller on E SR 4 reported that they found a wallet belonging to a Wahkiakum resident and would bring it to the Sheriff’s office when they were in town. 8:01 p.m. The Cathlamet Ambulance responded to help a Cathlamet resident who was ill.

March 9: 3:08 a.m. Cathlamet Emergency Services responded to help an elderly resident with severe back pain. 9:44 a.m. Sheriff’s deputies assisted a Driver on Main Street in Cathlamet with a tire change. 12:17 p.m. The Puget Island resident called to report a water leak near their meter; PUD was notified and on the scene. 8:03 p.m. A driver on W SR 4 called to report an erratic driver who went off the road near Risk Road.
