Black Bears begin WCL season

The Cowlitz Black Bears opened their 2025 West Coast League (WCL) season last Thursday, May 29, with a 9-2 road win against the Ridgefield Raptors. The Bears returned home over the weekend, and were swept by the Portland Pickles. The Bears host the NW Star Nighthawks in a non-league game Thursday, June 5, at 6:35 p.m. at David Story Field.
