PUBLIC NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO

APPROPRIATE PUBLIC WATER TAKE NOTICE:

That on 2/13/2024 the Wahkiakum Public Utility District No. 1 of WA, filed Water Right Application G2-30882 for a permit to appropriate public groundwater, subject to existing rights, from a well for year-round use in the amount of 250 gpm for municipal supply purposes for the Puget Island Water System.

The well is located within the SW ¼ ¼ of the SE ¼ of S. 11, T. 8 N., R. 6 W.W.M. within Wahkiakum County. The proposed place of use will be defined by the service area of the approved water system plan, but will generally include Puget Island.
