July 7 9:25 a.m. A concerned citizen called to report yelling that was happening nearby a Cathlamet business and had been going on for the last ten minutes. Sheriff deputies advised the caller that the yellers were not breaking any laws and suggested they could leave the area. 9:40 a.m. The PUD performed an emergency power outage from Nassa Point to the County Line Park for a tree that needed to be removed due to fire. 10:50 a.m. Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a transient asleep in the boat that sits outside the Cathlamet museum. The subject said that they were just waiting for the bus. 11 a.m. Deputies arrested a suspect who was allegedly burning holes in the walls of a Cathlamet resident’s home and would not leave the property. 11:36 a.m. A Cathlamet resident called to report two loose dogs running around Greenwood Road. 1:01 p.m. A concerned citizen called to report that they had found evidence of someone staying in the woods behind the museum and claimed there had been issues in the past with unknown people camping in that area. 5:28 p.m. The Cathlamet Fire Department responded to a small fire on the porch of a Cathlamet resident, which had been extinguished. 8:05 p.m. Cathlamet Emergency Services transported a patient from County Line Park who had been injured by a fire allegedly started by two people at the park. 8:38 p.m. A Cathlamet resident called to report a running spigot in the vacant lot next to them. Dispatch alerted the PUD who said they could not handle it due to the spigot’s position and deputies were advised that someone had previously been out to look at the it and said the spigot was beyond their ability to repair. 9:11 p.m. The Grays River Ambulance responded to assist a Rosburg resident who was experiencing an elevated heart rate.

July 8 12:23 a.m. A camper at the Skamokawa Vista Park called to report that a bear was rubbing against their tent. Deputies and the camp host arrived to investigate the area and found no signs of wildlife near the tent or in the camper area. 8:14 a.m. A Cathlamet resident called to report that their trailer and all of the belongings inside had been destroyed. There were no other details available. 9:36 a.m. A Skamokawa resident requested assistance with the removal of an abandoned trailer on their property. 2:11 p.m. The Cathlamet Ambulance responded to transport an elderly Cathlamet resident who was very ill. 4:26 p.m. A Deep River resident called to report two unknown individuals who were trespassing on their property. When deputies arrived, the individuals informed them that they had permission from the owner of the trailer that was on the property to be there. 7:06 p.m. An Elochoman Valley resident called to report that someone had tried to steal their vehicle, but instead stole their license plates. July 9 1:57 p.m. The Cathlamet Emergency Services responded to assist an elderly Puget Island resident who had fallen. 2:59 p.m. Sheriff deputies arrested an individual found with a stolen vehicle on SR 4 near Elochoman Valley Road. 3:09 p.m. A Grays River resident called to request deputy assistance with trouble regarding their neighbor, whom the caller believed was baiting them into an altercation after having ongoing issues with this neighbor. 9:06 p.m. A Naselle resident called to report that they were missing 5-gallon fuel jugs, four blue and two red.

July 10 6:25 a.m. The Grays River Ambulance responded to transport an elderly Naselle resident to the hospital with possible stroke symptoms. 7:52 a.m. The Cathlamet Ambulance transported an elderly Cathlamet resident to the hospital for chest pain. 11 a.m. Sheriff’s deputies responded to oversee a vehicle repossession on Puget Island. 11:44 a.m. A Naselle resident called to request two junk vehicle affidavits on Upper Naselle Road. 2:58 p.m. The Grays River Ambulance responded to help an elderly Rosburg resident who was having difficulty breathing. 3:16 p.m. A Grays River resident called to report that their neighbor was harassing them by sitting in the driveway and blocking them, running a rototiller on the property line and disturbing and creating a disturbance for their property and animals. The resident believes the neighbor is trying to intimidate them and wants all of the instances documented. 6:26 p.m. A Skamokawa resident called to report that a door on their building had been damaged. 7:01 p.m. A caller in Skamokawa reported a severely damaged vehicle was sitting in the lot near the recycling bins, and no one nearby knew who it belonged to. Deputies tried to contact the registered owner and left a voicemail.

July 11 11:06 p.m. A Deep River resident called to report that they had hit two deer on SR4 near Oneida Road and they were both deceased. 6:45 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies responded to a vehicle versus building accident on Broadway Street in Cathlamet; no injuries were reported. 7:07 p.m. A Cathlamet resident called to report fireworks were going off nearby. The resident called again to report that more fireworks had gone off. 7:55 p.m. The Cathlamet Ambulance responded to assist a Cathlamet resident who had a hand injury.

July 12 4:27 a.m. A Puget Island resident called to ask for assistance after their boat came off anchor and began floating north. The boat was located and returned. 8:46 p.m. A Cathlamet resident called to report that their neighbors were setting off fireworks again.

July 13 8:08 a.m. A driver in Skamokawa called to report that a tree was blocking the westbound lane of SR4 near the KM summit. 8:32 a.m. Sheriff’s deputies assisted an Elochoman Valley resident who had locked their keys in their vehicle. 11:51 a.m. A Cathlamet resident called to report a loose dog on Greenwood Road; deputies were able to locate the dog and return it to its owner. 11:55 a.m. A Naselle resident called to report dirt bikes traveling at a high rate of speed on Deep River Road. 6:27 p.m. A caller on SR4 reported a rock in the eastbound lane of SR4 near Maple Ridge Road.
