Aug. 26 8:11 a.m. A Rosburg resident called to report that someone had crashed through their gate. No injuries were reported. 9:28 a.m. A driver on Risk Road called to report a fallen tree was blocking the roadway. 10:47 a.m. A Cathlamet resident was transported to the hospital after falling and hitting her head. 12:58 p.m. A local business owner turned in a purse that a patron had left in the restaurant. The purse’s owner came in to pick it up later that day. 1:05 p.m. A business owner on Main Street in Cathlamet reported a break-in that occurred a few days earlier. 1:50 p.m. The Cathlamet Ambulance transported an Elochoman Valley Resident to the hospital due to illness. 3:24 p.m. The Cathlamet Emergency Services responded to assist an elderly Cathlamet resident. 4:35 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies made an arrest in connection with an earlier reported break-in at a Cathlamet business. 7:31 p.m. A concerned citizen called to report that someone was driving a motorcycle up and down Main Street towards the Marina with a small child and no helmet, and was concerned for the child.
Aug. 27 A subject was continuously calling to harass dispatch staff after being told they could only obtain records by submitting a records request. The caller proceeded to call back dispatch 24 times, yelling at them and using profane language.
Aug. 28 9:15 a.m. A Puget Island resident called to report that a trailer full of tires has been sitting on the side of Little Island Road for over a month. 9:18 a.m. A Cathlamet resident called to report dogs barking at a neighboring residence. 11:18 A welfare check was requested for a local student who had not been to school, and the phone was disconnected. 2:37 p.m. A Puget Island resident came in to report that they were having ongoing issues with their neighbor, who was making noise complaints about them. 5:55 p.m. A caller on Ostervold Road reported that their car went off the road into the field, and the airbags deployed, but no injuries. 7:15 p.m. A Cathlamet resident called to report that someone was harassing her on Facebook. 8:42 p.m. A Rosburg resident called to report their dog missing after seeing someone in a truck pick it up and drive away on security cameras.
Aug. 29 20:21 p.m. A Skamokawa resident called to report that a person known to them who had been trespassed from the property was outside and would not leave.
Aug. 30 12:22 a.m. Sheriff’s deputies assisted a driver on Una Ave who had a flat tire. 11:10 a.m. A driver on SR4 called to report an individual walking eastbound down the side of the highway and believes their car may have broken down and wanted deputies to check on the person. 11:34 a.m. A caller on Vista Park Road called to report that they had driven off the road and their car was in the ditch near Vista Park. 12:49 p.m. A Puget Island resident called to report that unknown individuals were trespassing on their property. 1:05 p.m. An Elochoman Valley resident reported that his boat and propane tank had been stolen from his dock and was told by a friend that it was seen near the bridge on Foster Road. 5:22 p.m. The Cathlamet Ambulance responded to assist a Cathlamet resident who was having pain after a surgery.
Aug. 31 4:00 a.m. The Cathlamet Emergency Services responded to provide a lift assist after an elderly Puget Island resident had fallen. 9:52 a.m. A Puget Island resident called to report people on dirt bikes going up and down N Welcome Slough Road. 11:29 a.m. A Cathlamet resident called to complain about their neighbor’s dogs barking. A deputy went out and spent time in the area and did not hear any barking. 11:48 a.m. It was reported that an unknown individual was seen rummaging through wood scraps on a new construction site on Morgan Drive. 11:56 a.m. A driver on Elochoman Valley Road called to report that someone was walking along the roadway near the bridge who looked unwell. 9:03 p.m. Puget Island resident called to report dirt bike riders going up and down N Welcome Slough Road at a high rate of speed and said they had poured oil in his yard.
