WAHKIAKUM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

Upper Grays River Community Forest Project

The Wahkiakum County Board of Commissioners invites the public to a Town Hall Meeting on:

Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.

In the cafeteria of Johnson Park, 30 Rosburg School Road, Rosburg, WA

The purpose of the Town Hall Meeting is to provide the public with an opportunity to learn more about the proposed Upper Grays River Community Forest and to ask questions and share input.

Wahkiakum County is partnering with Pacific County and the Columbia Land Trust to create a Community Forest in the Upper Grays River watershed, spanning both counties. The goal is to ensure local control and management that will provide lasting economic and environmental benefits to the community, including conserving working timberlands and generating timber revenue, protecting habitat and improving the health of the Grays River watershed, and increasing public access and recreational opportunities.
