After finishing fifth out of 14 teams in last weekend’s tournament, the Comets were back at it Tuesday night against Ocosta. Another three-set sweep (25-19, 25-7, 26-24) by the Comets solidified their regular season. Smith led the team in both assists and aces again with 26 and eight respectively. Smith also had nine digs, while Davis led the team with 14 digs and added three kills to help the offense. Colombo led the team in digs with 14, and Dunagan led the team in both kills and blocks with eight and three respectively. Describing the evening as “a fun night of volleyball,” Wirkkala said, “Ocosta was so kind in honoring our seniors alongside their own. The girls played well together and came out with the win…Our bench keeps everything lighthearted and joyful. We couldn’t ask for a better team across the board.”
