Last week was the conclusion to the annual Puget Island Passport event. The Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce, Little Island Creamery, Little Island Farm, and Puget Island Gardens wish to extend a big “thank you” to everyone who participated throughout October!
The Puget Island Passport encourages residents and visitors to explore and support local businesses. We loved seeing people from all over and sharing our passion for Puget Island. All participants who successfully completed their passports were entered into the grand prize draw on Oct. 31 to win baskets full of goodies from each of the three businesses. The lucky winners were drawn and notified last Wednesday. Congratulations to everyone!
A special thank you goes to the Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce for their valuable time in supporting the event. We are already looking forward to next year. Though the pumpkin patch season at Little Island Farm has closed after a great October run, we hope you were able to carve pumpkins in style! You can still enjoy other of our island's offerings. Little Island Creamery is open Friday through Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Puget Island Gardens has modified its winter hours and is now open Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
