Posh Resale expands storefront

Sabor Mixto & More closed its doors at the end of October after two years at the 108 E. B Street address in Rainier. The juice and deli cafe opened in May of 2023 and was active in the local community and a frequent vendor at festivals around the county. Despite their best efforts, the owners decided to close the business due to a lack of revenue.

In conversation with the owners, it was relayed that although revenue was covering basic expenses, it wasn’t as profitable as they needed it to be to keep in operation. The owners relayed they have plans to keep the business going but are looking at moving outside Columbia County.

The now vacant space is being taken over by Posh Resale, which is located in the adjoining storefront. According to the manager, there are a number of plans in the works to expand inventory offerings with an area dedicated to men’s clothing and supplies. Updates as to the expansion plans and potential rebrand will be made public, likely in the new year, as they finalize details and update the former Sabor Mixto space to accommodate the expansion.
