Perhaps you feel like you’re herding cats this Thanksgiving week, heading too fast into December...well, ‘tis the season! So, to help you relax and enjoy one of the darker, wetter and busier months of the year, come check out the holiday music and cheer at the Little Island Creamery Sunday, Dec. 7.
The Creamery will be hosting the popular North Coast Chorale, a long-standing community-based musical group from Astoria. Fast becoming a tradition on the island and known for its great selection of music and friendly sing-a-long vibe, the North Coast Chorale, with its third appearance at the Creamery, will perform in The Venue at the Barn from 3 to 5 p.m. Admission is $15 at the door.
Do you need even more of a morale booster? The afternoon will be filled with real warm fuzzies as Little Island Creamery proudly sponsors a WAAG Kitten Adoption event that same afternoon. WAAG will be bringing more than 20 furry friends, ready to meet their potential new families. The kittens will be available to visit in the kitchen annex building from noon to 5:30 p.m.
Guests are encouraged to stop by before or after the concert to say hello, get their picture taken with a kitten by the Christmas Tree, and maybe even find a new family member. Volunteers from WAAG will be on hand throughout the day to introduce the kittens and assist with the adoption process, ensuring every kitten finds the right home for the holidays.
Don't miss this fun community event that combines the best of Christmas cheer with the chance to be smitten with a kitten!
