January 19 2:06 p.m. A Cathlamet resident called to report seeing someone who matched the description of a subject in a previous burglary and wanted to speak with a deputy in identifying the person. Deputies determined the person did not match the suspect depicted in the burglary. 5:48 p.m. A Skamokawa resident called to report a vehicle tailgating, revving its engine, and stopping in the driveway when she got home, then driving away on SR 4. 9:48 p.m. The Cathlamet Emergency Services responded to assist a Cathlamet resident who had fallen and sustained a head injury.

January 20 12:27 p.m. A homeowner in Skamokawa who lives in Centralia came to check their property and found a for sale sign. After contacting the realtor, the homeowner learned that someone claiming to own the property came to the realtor to sell it. Deputies are working to identify the rightful owner and locate the person impersonating the owner. 4:26 p.m. A Cathlamet resident saw on their security cameras someone approaching their home and leaving a note and requested that a deputy stop by to ensure no one was waiting, as they’ve had trouble with theft and break-ins recently. 4:32 p.m. A Cathlamet resident called to report a stolen package from Risk Road in Cathlamet. 7:54 p.m. Deputies responded to reports of an unlawful burn on Beaver Creek, where the owner was irate and yelling at law enforcement. 9:01 p.m. The Grays River Ambulance responded to assist an elderly Grays River resident who had stroke symptoms. 9:14 p.m. A driver on SR 4 reported that someone was standing in the roadway near the rock quarry. Authorities told the individual not to walk in the roadway. The individual then asked for a ride to Longbeach. When told no, they continued walking westbound.

January 21 5:59 a.m. A Grays River resident was transported to the hospital after falling. 6:10 a.m. A Cathlamet resident called to report a campfire by the mailbox. 9:17 a.m. An employee called to report that an individual stole a product from a Cathlamet business. 3:13 p.m. A Cathlamet homeowner was chased onto their porch by two loose dogs. The caller was frightened and deputies arrived and one of the animals sustained OC exposure before the dog owners arrived to collect them. 6:51 p.m. A power outage was reported on Beaver Creek Road. 7:09 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of someone knocking on a Cathlamet resident’s backdoor and would not identify themselves.

January 22 9:25 a.m. A Cathlamet resident walked in to report that their passenger side door was open when they woke up this morning. 11:43 a.m. An Elochoman Valley resident reported fishermen on their side of the river when they should be on the east side. Deputies informed the property owner that the use of the water is lawful shore to shore. 2 p.m. A Rosburg resident was transported via LifeFlight to the hospital for lethargy.

January 23 3:51 p.m. A Skamokawa resident was transported to the hospital for abdominal pain. 4:41 p.m. A driver on SR 4 reported a vehicle with a trailer that looked like it has an unsecure load.

January 24 12:02 a.m. A vehicle struck a deer on E SR4.

January 25 4:06 a.m. The Cathlamet Ambulance transported a Cathlamet resident to the hospital for arm pain and tingling. 7:23 a.m. A Cathlamet resident was transported to the hospital after a fall. 1:11 p.m. A Cathlamet resident reported that they were almost run off the road the previous night on Elochoman Valley Road. 11:42 p.m. A Skamokawa resident was transported to the hospital for heart problems.
