February 18 4:53 a.m. A Skamokawa resident called to report suspicious individuals at the fairgrounds and claims one of the prowlers’ dogs attacked them. 5:13 p.m. A Cathlamet resident reported an abandoned vehicle on Colombia Street that had been there since December. 7:29 p.m. The Cathlamet Ambulance transported a Cathlamet resident to the hospital for chest tightness. 11:22 p.m. A Skamokawa resident reported trespassers with dogs in the back lot of the fairgrounds. Deputies walked the property and found no signs of any trespassers or animals.

February 22 8:08 a.m. A driver on Oneida called to report a large tree blocking both lanes. 8:19 a.m. A Cathlamet resident called to report an assault that occurred the night before and was transported to the hospital. 11:08 a.m. The U.S. Coast Guard notified the county that they would be holding dive operations to retrieve an anchor in the area of river mile 36 near the Elochoman Slough and deep draft vessels would be restricted until they were finished. 5:29 p.m. A Puget Island resident reported finding two bulldogs. 5:37 p.m. A Rosburg resident called to report a power outage on Makalia Lane.
