Coleman recognized as December Student of the Month

Lions Club President Terri Elfers (right) has had the privilege to honor Memphis Rain Coleman as our December Student of the Month. Memphis plans to attend CWU (Central Washington University) in the fall, major in Math, get a BA degree, and become a high school math teacher. While student teaching, she wants to get her MA degree. Because of an injury as a sophomore, her GPA dropped and she has worked very hard to bring that grade back up. She has received an honor roll award each quarter this year. She likes to dance and enjoys cheer. Memphis will be the first in her family to go directly from high school to college.
