The Two Islands Farm Market is preparing to open for the 2011 season on May 6. The market will be open every Friday from 3-6:30 p.m. and will feature local vendors presenting their Wahkiakum grown or produced products. Breakfast at Applebee’s is being served on April 30, as a fund raiser for the American Cancer Society’s Cowlitz/Wahkiakum Relay For Life. An all-you-can-eat breakfast of sausage, pancakes, coffee, juice and other beverages will be served from 8 a.m.-10 a.m. Applebee’s is located in the Triangle Shopping Center in Longview. April 30 marks the date for the 35th annual Spring Salad Luncheon held by the Priscilla Circle of the Naselle Lutheran Church.
