The weather was very wet and rainy last Saturday, but that did not stop Boy Scout Troop #883 from meeting at the fairgrounds to start an Eagle Scout project. Scout Ben Vasion needed to complete a project and asked me for project ideas a few weeks ago. We discussed a few projects, then Ben decided he would like to tear down the admission gate ticket booth and build a new one. I didn't know him when he was appointed to a vacancy in the state Senate, but I soon came to appreciate him. Naselle Lutheran Church celebrates Harvest Fest A Harvest Fest will be held at the Naselle Lutheran Church on October 27 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Sausage and sauerkraut will be available for lunch for a donation.
