Donald Theodore Zilmer of Aberdeen passed away Saturday, December 1st, 2018 at Grays Harbor Community Hospital. He was 85. Donald was born on March 9, 1933 to Otto and Lydia Zilmer in Belgrade, MN where he grew up. He met his wife Kathy at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN as both were recovering from surgery. "Sometime between Tuesday night December 11th and early morning Wednesday December 12th, the Grays River Fire Hall District #3 was broken into and a blue and white ambulance was stolen. The Naselle-Grays River Valley School District Board of Directors met for its monthly meeting on December 18 at the Grays River Fire Hall. In personnel matters, the board approved the hire of Steven McConnell, bus driver, and the resignation of Chris Dorman, assistant baseball coach. Dolores Nadine Nelson, 87, of Rosburg, died December 6, 2018 at Canterbury Gardens in Longview. She was born December 31, 1930 to Rudolph and Ellen (Keranen) Larson. She was a lifelong Wahkiakum County resident attending Naselle-Grays River Valley schools. She married Roy Nelson on May 8, 1948 and they raised their children in Rosburg, where she worked at Appelo's Store as a clerk for many years. On November 11, 2018, Lenore Madeline Sorenson died peacefully surrounded by family. Lenore was born to Theodore and Litta (Knifong) Swanson on May 10, 1918, in Rosburg, Washington with five sisters and two brothers.
