    The water at two local schools was found to be fine after being sampled and tested at ALS Environmental in Kelso earlier in 2016. The Naselle/Grays River Valley School District delivered four samples to ALS in April. The samples were taken from the elementary, middle school, and high school water fountains, as well as from a source in the music room.     Several players have had opportunities to shine, but as a whole, the Wahkiakum Mules boys basketball team continued to struggle to find a rhythm.     The Wahkiakum County PUD Board of Commissioners met briefly on Tuesday morning to hear reports and swap chair positions for the coming year. General Manager Dave Tramblie gave an update on the PUD’s project to replace meters on Puget Island with automated reader meters (AMR).
