    UNEXPECTED--We certainly had a crazy weather day last Saturday and it depended on where you were as to just how violent it was.     The hounds will be running this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, May 25 and 26, at Misty Rivers Plantation, 117 Cross Dike Road on Puget Island. And it will be more than just hounds. The AKC event, sponsored by the Willamette Valley Basenji Club, will consist of Coursing Aptitude Trials (CATs) open to all breeds and mixed breeds.     The Naselle Community Center hosted their second concert recently to rave reviews and a large audience! Almost 100 visitors came from all over to hear the vast array of talent. Over $1,000 in donations were collected to help offset costs of upgrades and maintenance to the building. The event was a huge success!
