Lower Columbia College has released its class schedule for March. The following classes are being offered this month:

Flagger certification, note new date, March 23, from 8 a.m.–5 p.m., sign up for item number 2110; $50., or for March 31, from 8 a.m.– 5 p.m. in Woodland, $50.

Medical Billing for the Novice, Home Study course, March 23. Sign up by March 16 deadline; $149.

Computerized Medical Billing, Home Study course, April 6; Sign up prior to March 31 deadline; $179.

Friends & Family CPR, March 3, from 9–11:30 a.m., or 12:30–2:30 p.m., $12.

Prime Time courses for those 55 years and older are a convenient, inexpensive, and fun way to network. Each course is only $20 and with courses running as long as 16 hours.

Computer basics 3, Mondays and Wednesdays, March 5–28, from 3–5 p.m., $20.

Spreadsheet basics with Excel, Tuesdays and Thursdays, March 20– April 5, 3 –5 p.m., $20.

Presentations with Powerpoint, Saturdays, March 3–10, 9 a.m.–12 noon, or Tuesdays and Thursdays, March 8–22, from 3–5 p.m., $20.

Primetime fitness , Mondays or Wednesdays, March 12–30, 9:45–11:15 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran, $20.

There is still space in recreational art, Tuesdays, February 27 – April 17, 9 -11 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, or 2 – 4 p.m. at Delaware Plaza, $20.

LCC is also offering courses to health care professionals to help with the required 10 hours per year of continuing education. Other Allied Health professionals, family caregivers, nursing students, Medical Assistants, RNs and LPNs may also take these 5-hour classes, which may meet their continuing education requirements. All courses are held in the Applied Arts building, room 126. Each of these courses cost $25.90 unless otherwise indicated.
