Jennifer Cobb, of Heirloom Preservation, will return to the River Life Interpretive Center on March 11 at 1 p.m. to demonstrate techniques for preserving family heirlooms.
Cobb is a preservation specialist who can guide those interested through the process of organizing photos, letters, textiles and documents to ensure they can be passed on to future generations.
Cobb will have preservation supplies, such as archival quality boxes, file folders and photo sleeves and acid free tissue on hand for sale to those attending.
Irene Martin, Historian and Archivist for Friends of Skamokawa says, "If you are interested in preserving your family history, this free workshop provides the basic knowledge you need to get started."
Cobb will be available to answer individual questions.
